Hoping people that have completed a coilover install can help here. When installing the spring top plate should it sit "on top" of the shocker ie: the threaded section providing a fixed seat or should I be drilling it out to slide up and down on the actual shocker piston keeping the spring..

just fitted another pinto mtr into my mk 1 cortina set timing to the marks as best i can and now ive got pe ignition and im not sure on how to fix it- switch the key off and the mtr wants to keep running i don't like it i've set the points to book specs at 0.025thou and the dwell is at 38 timing ..

Hey guys just put a tacho cluster in my 78 escort since the old one didn't have the tacho as its currenty auto, Just wondering if all the orginal tachos are slow.
