Can't get speedo cable out. - solved

Hi All. I can't get my speedo cable out of the back of the gauge. From the manual and the new cable it looks like it should just come out. Is it rusted in or there a trick i don't know? Thanks. Darren...

Left side front footwell carpet drenched????

Hey guys just gave me mk2 a good wash/vacuum. Then after i washed it i went to vacuum it and the left hand side front footwell carpet was pretty wet. And some white mould was appearing.
