New Cossie N/A running very hot on startup

I have just fitted and started my my new cossie lump. Looks great but is running very hot I have removed the thermostat as a precaution and the ally radiator is hot to touch within a couple of minutes. new speedo cable, speedo not working?

My speedo doesn't work with the new cable. It's the right part, bought from yesterford. I have it installed right, (located properly into the back of cluster, used the ciclip underneath) My guess is that the needle part that inserts into the gearbox is the problem, it didn't protrude from the shroud..

Xflow Backfiring through carby

Help please - my xflow has not been running for a few months and I have just installed a new PCV valve and vacuum booster. The car starts but now back-fires through the carby. I am thinking that increased vacuum in the system may be advancing the distributor more than before and that I should retard..

Question About Console Clock.

I'm attempting to fit this clock but I need to cut out the hole in the console. My question is, does the clock sit off the front of the console, or is it recessed into the hole?..

1500 non cross flow starter motor
