Front coil overs

Mk2 front hub grease cap

Still after some front wheel bearing grease caps for a Mk2. Had one pop off and as I have no centre caps on my rims I don't really want to keep driving the car without one. All new caps for sale for Escorts (that I have found) are 47mm fit but mine measure a little over 41mm. I believe they are 1 5/..

Rear Axel Bearing Width

I had some new bearings pressed onto the axles of a standard diff (banjo) from an Escort Mk2 2.0ltr. When fitting the axles I noticed that the bearings were not fully flush with the end of the axle housing. I measured the width of the bearings and they came to about 22mm. ok, i put a thread on here a while ago when deciding on what leaf springs to use in my mk2, and everyone seemed to think king springs were the go. WRONG. the centre pins dont line up properly and now the diff sits at a lovely angle, so any good advice on what to do next? go back to original springs ..
