Steering Rack Replacement

Just bought a 2.4 turn Steering rack and i was wondering when i change it should i buy new bushes for the front while i have stuff unbolted etc?..

Hi, Can someone please confirm that the only difference between the 1600 mk2 escort radiator and the 2L mk2 escort radiator is the bracketry ? Cheers...

rebuilding/modding 1300 vs 1600

hello, sorry if this is in the wrong spot!! ok.... so is it worth the effort doing up the 1300 in a Mk1 Escort or should i go looking for a 1600 to rebuild?? the 1300 in the car at the moment is an unknown until i get it started ( battery is dead, starter solenoid may be cactus ) so i'm just tossing..

Hey fella's, Im looking at buying some new autometer or speco (depending on price) gauges and i was wondering what ones i need. There are Mechanical and Electric ones. I just want a oil,water & volts for my 2LT MKII. What do i need, Mechanical or Electric? Cheers Rhys..

To keep or not to keep

Ive got a very rough Mk2 4 door and was really looking for a Mk1. Is there any valid reason that i should keep the Mk2 for odds and ends for the Mk1 once i get it. They changed from Imperial to Metric between these 2 models didn't they? All advice will be taken into consideration.....

can anyone help have seen numerous consoles for sale but none with radio, just wandering if other ford models had the same radio as mk2 rs, any help appreciated thanks..

Windscreen chrome strip

Hey guys, just wondering if you knew if the front chrome strip in the windscreen is same size as the back on a MKII. It is on a MKI, but im not sure on MKII..

problems with aftermarket tacho

mate has recently wired up a aftermarket tacho into his car wiring appears to be hooked up all correctly not a whole lot to stuff up but the trouble we are having is with the tacho set on 4 cyl the revs are way to high, on 6 cyl slightly lower, and 8 cyl its pretty much bang on at idle and low revs..

NSW Engineered rego.

Would like to explore the possibility of regoing my MK2 track car. only prob I can see is the full cage, I'm told no more full cages can be rego'd from 2004 on or something. Any advice? Can I rego in Tassie or something and transfer to NSW?..
