Alloy sump hairline crack

Hi all, I've just filled my sump with oil and found it has a small crack on the corner near where the clutch cable goes through. I can't actually see it as such but oil is slowly weeping out. Can anybody suggest some sort of epoxy etc that I can use as a temporary fix, just to get it to the dy..

which gasket goo?

I'm looking for a gasket sealant to do water pump, exhaust mani and inlet mani. I bought 1 tube for exhaust (300 deg) and 1 tube of aviation sealant #3 that doesn't set, thinking it would be okay for the water pump and maybe the inlet?..

When does an electronic fuel pump (2.5- 4psi) and electronic ignition (pertronix) become essential for crossflow motors? Will these two upgrades make much difference to a standard motor with headers & twin choke carb? Thanks..
