1976 Registration Plates

Looking at ordering some Victorian Black and White rego plates to go on the mk2 escort project, (always looked better I reckon.) The car is a June '76 build so probably on the road in say Sept '76. Need to find the best place for steering rack parts, after some shims, gaskets, bellows and pinion seal. On another note the mk2 and mk1 racks are interchangeable aren't they? concerned about the splines to steering column...

PCV valve and breather cap

I have put a sidedraft weber on my 1600 kent, and there's no provision on the inlet manifold for the PCV hose. I just run a bit of short hose from it to a mini air breather. Would it be best to leave the PCV valve in place or remove it and push the hose directly into the oil seperator? If there's no..

Distributor Seal

Im after a part number or supplier of the correct seal around the shaft of a 2Lt Pinto distributor. I sourced a seal and thought it was correct, but the oil escaping tells me otherwise... Cheers Jase..

Temperature Sender

Hi Guys, The RS's temp gauge is reading high(in Red), replaced with a new one now it goes off the dial. Does the RS need a different sensor to standard Escorts? Any ideas? Wiring is correct as i disconnect wire from sender and it goes back to cold. The temperature is not that hot 70 C Weiry..
