toyota w gearbox behind ford I4

Hey fellas just wanting to know the conversion process for a toyota gearbox behind a kent, pinto, zetec etc. I understand they have a 21 spline input and 21 out, wheras the ford gearboxes have 23 spline in. So do i just find a suitable clutch to suit?..

Can this be done, or will I have to go Atlas or Hilux? I note that the length of English is 48" half shaft flange to flange) and the recommended Atlas from Mk1 Capri is also 48" or is that just the housing?..

Type 9 into Mk2

Well we got to it this weekend installing the type 9 into my 2 door mk2 2.0... First of all some measurements; Crossmember holes are moved back 33mm and lowered 46mm, interested to hear others had the same... A 3mm plate steel cut out to the same shape as the crossmember and identical holes drille..

Hello, Well the type 9 is on its way, doesn't look like it comes with a shifter... Can anyone tell me if the 4sp shifter will fit, and if not, does anyone have a spare they would like to sell. I've been looking at the quick shift kits from the UK for about $120... Cheers, Rob..
