Pinto turbo down pipe and exhaust size

Hi all, What would be the best advisable size firstly for a down pipe coming from a T25/28. Then the rest of the exhaust? Is 2&1/4" too small? Thanks, Rhys..

RS factory exhaust manifold

Crossflow extractors

These are the 4 sets of extractors in the shed. Crossflow exhaust

Ok, it's nearly ready for an exhaust. Will be taking it to the dyno for tuning the carbs but will need a exhaust beforehand. Looking for a sporty but not overly loud note - and as free flowing as is realistically possible. FWIW, the engined has had a bit of work done to it: valves, ports, cam, extra..

Ceramic Coated Headers

engine mounts vs headers

i just yanked out a broken engine mount which was severely melted. Now, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Did the mount break, causing the engine to tilt, leaving the extractors resting on the mount which melted it..... or did the extractors cause the mount to melt and break in the first pl..

Hotdog & side pipes

Is this legal? It came off a car previously owned by the company that does the local rego checks, but do i risk it? as you can see, it comes straight out of the standard exhaust mainfold, into a hotdog, splits into two and exits just in front of the tires. Very loud, and I like it. Would like to kee..
