Headlight adjustment measurements

G'day all, does anyone have the formula/ measurements for setting up headlights? I know I have to park it a set distance from a wall with marks slightly lower than dead centre but can't find the exact details in any of my manuals...Cheers Drew.....

My main beam lights in my MK1 Escort are not working. There is no power to fuse box or bulb plugs but there is power to switch. I have parkers and overtaking lights . Any idea..
