Alternator upgrade

Hi all,Looking to upgrade the alternator on the RS, something like 80amps. Any suggestions-one that will fit without too much modifications and has the right terminals/ connections? Cheers, Len..

Electronic speedo conversion

Hi All,Anyone done a speedo conversion using a vss for its input signal? BGH in the UK sell one which fits directly into the normal output cable spot on a type 9, I want to find a ford speedo to fit into my dash which gets input from a vss but doesn't have/ need a computer to decode. Problem with temp gauge

Hi, I have found a odd issue with the temp gauge. As soon as the lights are turned on the temp goes up, turn them off and it goes back down. What electrical issue would cause this?..

First start up timing

HiI'm about to bench test a rebuilt pinto and would like to know how many degrees BTDC I need to be.Bottom end is 30 thou oversize, new shells, bearings etcTop end has a bigger cam(spec unknown) mild porting to the bottom half of the inlet ports, standard valves etc and a standard 2.0ltr carburettor..

Mk2 Escort wiring schematic

Hi all. Has anyone have a hi res image of the electrical wiring schematic for the Aus delivered Mk2 RS2000? I have a 1977 Escort manual but this does not seem to match my RS. Same with the Gregory one. Just stripping out all the unnecessary wiring and wanting to identify circuits etc...
