tacho issue

I have a kent motor with a bestek electronic ignition and a pricol tacho until recently I was picking up the coil feed from the standard resistance wire in the car wiring ( 9v output ) and the tacho worked properly I have now changed the coil feed to a direct 12v straight from the ignition switch ..

Washer Bottle Relocation Ideas ?

Hi all, Mk2 Pinto, running 350 Holley - standard washer bottle doesn't fit due to width. I have space on the side for a vertical bottle rather than the wide standard bottle. What are my options? a) Is there a special spot I can mount and use the standard bottle? b) Is there an alternative ..

Electric distributor for 2.0l

Im after a electric dizzy for my 2.0l escort. ive been told you can get a simple 2 wire joby, which just wires to +coil and one to -coil, or what ever you have, cheers....

Coolant flowspeed

I've been told now by every Radiator shop to be careful not to cycle coolant too fast through the radiator as the coolant won't have time to cool down. This doesn't sit well with me as I can't understand why moving coolant faster would have a negative effect, I am standing firm on this as I think it..

1.6 alt on a pinto??

would it work? im new to this so info is needed.. i've got a very clean 76 mk2 ghia 1600 (hasnt run for 8 years)and have just started the slow process of doing the pinto conversion (slow for me) and am missing a few bits, the alt of the 1.6 is basically new and i dont see why i cant use it on the 2..

Radiator Overflow Tube
