desperate for some troubleshooting help with electricals. Started with a high beam issue

Hi Guys, So this all started a few weeks ago. I pulled the motor out of the car to give it a bit of a freshen up. The motor is sitting in the garage, but I thought in the meantime I might repaint the headlight plastics etc and just get the front of the car looking nice. After putting it all back tog..

mk1 lights playing up!

Hi AllJust rebuilt my mk1 and the lights are driving me bloody mad! I can get on or two working or one side or the other but not all together. Pretty sure its just the earths on the rear clusters, (or lack of them as they just seem to earth through the mounting points for the units.Has anyone upgrad..

Mk1 wiring to 2lt pinto - doing my head in.

Ok here is the story,I have untapped the mk1 loom and bought the coil / dizzy wire loom back to the L/H sidenow,I have 2 red wires out come out of the loom which are factory joined:one goes to the Mk1 solenoid or to battery then solenoid... but am I right a pinto does not have a solenoid ... so does..

Tacho Issues

I have been out and about getting the roadie sorted in the escort and have noticed that when I rev the engine out to 4K it just falls back to 0 again even though I'm still accelerating. how to wire a electric fuel pump without an oil pressure safety switch

I have a 1968 falcon futura and I just put a 1991 crown vic police interceptor motor into it and I am trying to hook up an electric fuel pump but all the instructions I found said to get an oil pressure safety switch...
