Anyone know how to tell if the throttle shaft / spindle is worn or need re-bushing? I can feel a *tiny* (less than 1 mm) bit of movement on the end furtherest from the linkage wheel (would be closest to firewall on a Pinto) and am wondering if this is normal or a potential source of air leaks. Al..

Rigid mount 40DHLA's -is this a problem??

Hi all, the manifold I have rigid mounts the carby's to the block with no obvious provision to use a rubber mount between the manifold and the carby. I am use to using a rubber mount to isolate vibration, ala Alfa. Has anyone found this to be a problem? If so what are some options to get around this..

Induction Manifolds - Pinto

For a performance Pinto, what is considered the best inlet manifold for 48's?? I have heard of Lynx, Redline and Warneford (know nothing about the latter). Best place to source these? Are they generally bolt on or do they need port matching or machining in any way? Any opinions?..
