Fuel breather line.

Hey guys just a question, I pulled the charcoal canister out and that left me with the fuel line just sitting there. And not sure what to do with it? I was thinking of putting a little breather thingo at the fuel tank. Or even in the engine bay and mounting it near the washer bottle but not sure if ..

What carb option would you guys give in this situation? I like look of the side draught on my kent but am over pulling the manifold off to clean the air filter.Is there a different manifold to give me more room? I like the idea of a 38 weber but I know I won't get the performance I have already. ..
