Tarmac arches

Does anyone know what size countersunk rivets are used to put tarmac arches on? Also what adhiesive would you recommend? Thanks Mick...

2ltre rad into mk1

Just wondering if I read correctly and after advise if I didn't, to fit a 2ltre rad or aftermarket alloy type does the bonnet slam panel need to be trimmed to fit it correctly??I need to replace my slam panel and think it would be silly to get a new one fitted then have to cut it later down the trac..

Door removal

Hi everyone. Got a 1976 P-van, need to remove the doors for some rust repair. I've read you can either knock the pins out, or some models have bolts behind the kick panels? which would make it a whole lot easier. What have people done, and what tools (for hinges) are best. cheers, Alex..

Removing moulding stripes along side

Hi Guys, Are there any secrets to removing the moulding strips along the side of the car. I have a 78 MKII with the Ghia body strips. Do they just pull off or is there a better way to do it? Cheers Matt..

Risk of sand blasting ?

I need to remove all the paint off my shell. Looking into the paint stripper process seems too time consuming and costly I'm wondering if there are extremeties with the sand blasting method? If so, what's the easiest and quickest way to remove all of the paint ? Thanks. Ben...
