Wanted: Mk2 Escort front seats, and drivers side seat belt

Hello all, I have a good unfrayed set of belts for my project but they are a bit faded.... Has anyone tried dying them? Thought i'd ask first, going to need a good colourfast dye, bit worried about getting a black stripe across myself when I finally use them......
