escort mk2 Roller Bearing Top Mount - Rubber Bonded size

has anyone fitted escort mk2 Roller Bearing Top Mount - Rubber Bonded and can tell me the size or can tell me if the center will fit through small hole tops i know i will have to drill the mounting holes but as i can only get these in large hole fitments have not got any choice...

More Gaz gold hicups

Hello all, well after last post my shiny new hubs arrived, all good, they fit.... Gone to fit the standard brake calliper and its clashing with the disc and hub..... Mocked it all up on the old strut, works fine, and seems like there is about a 7mm difference in the position of the top mounting hole..

1.6 strut conversion

i have a 1.6 escort and im putting in a zetec.so i want to upgrade to 2l springs. not going to be lowered for now. can i just buy 2l springs ad bolt fit them to the 1.6 strut?..

Gaz Gold wheel bearing size?

Hello all,Fitting up a set of gaz gold struts to the car, I've gone to fit the hubs but the bearing size appears to be different, mine are too small and won't fit. Is there an alternative size bearing that can be used? different hubs? or is it a trip to the machine shop?Any suggestions or solutions ..

RTA/ADR and use of heim/rod ends on steering

Recent conversation with my engineer, he advised I'm unable to use a hiem/rod ends on the end of the steering rack arm to connect to the struts steering arm. Im was planning to use this to give more adjustment to correct the steering geo, which is needed as i need to lower the rack to give sump cle..
