WCXM - steering rod arm length

Hi all I have fitted WCXM, coil overs, adjustable strut tops and adjustable lower control arms. I suspect I need to add extensions to my steering rod ends to get enough thread on the tie rods, does this sound normal?..

Loosen seized strut tops

Hi can anyone tell me how to loosen a seized strut top. I have a few but after undoing the shock nut(not completely and with spring clamps loosened) the top will not budge.
