Since there's a few cars in the reassembly stage (my own neraly as well), I thought i'd start a post to see if anyone needed a specific item.
 
Feel free to list up a reminder of you are always on the lookout for or still need but are trying to avoid getting from o/s or having to make.
 
Myself, I'd like to find some 2 up/2 down spotlight mounts, and some std front bumper irons, both mk2.

I only hoard bits specific bits for my car nowadays but I do have a couple of boxes of odds and sods that I can part with.
I still keep an eye out for anything Escort and Cortina related so happy to grab things for people if I see them. Will be visiting a few regional centres with work in the coming months and always have an ask around while I'm on the properties or in town.

Like Drew and all of us, I have so much stuff from past builds etc I often can't remember and have learnt to go searching to save buying something I already have 
Can't help you on either of your search items sorry.

I'm after good L/R tail light lenses, mine have some minor cracks that annoy me. Also after a left tail light housing. I have the genuine ford article on the right but a remanufactured one on the left.

Apart from that everything else is either an aftermarket upgrade or I already have it.

On the current build I bought the left and right, complete units from Yesterford. Good quality and fitted well. I'm really not sure these days what is good value?
On that note, with your RS rebuild Mark, checkout the Yesterford price for a booster. WOW. I'm sure this is not good value!

There are some prices from there that are good and others have you scratching your head, Mike is on my doorstep though so I am very lucky to have that available to me so I like to support him where I can.

It's handy you can walk to the corner Ford store and choose what you want with your burger on your lunch break. I've seen Escort MCs for well over $500 , mad! , going back to Rock Auto and looking for Capri MC might be a good option, though somewhere in the 80s their Capri became a Mustang Fox body in disguise I believe..

Looking for 2x reverse lamp chrome surrounds for Capri mk1

Might have a couple of old lamps with the chrome surrounds. Let me know if you want me to search.
