2dr mk2 will be the longer one regardless rs or not, if you need a length I can help this rvo to get the size on the 2dr only tho unless I've parts for 4dr which I may not have

Bernie, I battled the antarctic blast to get you these pics lol, hope weather your way is better !
I found 3x winders and the far right rusty one is mk2 2dr. The other 2 are mk1 escort coup as measures against my own coup resto winders which are identical length of 560mm roller to winder spindle .
I could not find any 4dr ones but from a modded one I did 30yrs ago to work in a 2dr I cut the arm and welded in a 50mm piece to match 2dr winder arm length .

All good Bernie, on the winders, the early mk1 Escort has the crank handle spin opposite to mk2 Escort and the 4x mountings are just far enough out to annoy us !
I'm more Escort orientated due to my heritage but still respect all other small Ford models
