Yeah I thought he was being a bit too keen considering there is still a little bit of fab work and the whole underside of the car to clean up first before it goes to paint.

It certainly is, there are two MK1 panel vans through that there engine bay actually, the one under the cover is the shop owners. There are another two MK1 two doors and a MK2 RS2000 XPack on the other side of the shop. He barely has room for his day to day work

i was going to say 2 new doorskins, but since theres one alongside that's been worked on, I'm going for a new firewall, and possibly a gearbox tunnel?

What's in the package game hey...
I think it's the extension housing for his gearbox so it prods out the same hole.. or a bead roller kit or both !

ohhh everyone is dead cold at the moment, but good guesses on door skin and extension housing! Deano funnily enough thats not my door - thats the doors from the Xpack and my doors are over the other side of the shop next to the Xpack chassis .

Ok a hint may be required but if I give a good hint then it will be too easy to guess! Maybe this, in one box has moving parts and the other bigger box has no moving parts at all.

Holy moly, where did all that time go?

Small update on the car, I brought back a ton of things from the UK, some of which is still super secret for now .

The general gist of it though was lots of body gaskets, bolt kits and a lot of the little things you need to keep a project going that was relatively lightweight but hard to get in Aus. I did pick up a new caliper spacer kit as i wasn't 100% happy with the first one I bought. Much happier with this kit, the spacers sit nicer and more in line on the caliper, the bolts are the right length and it has actual slide pins instead of split pins.

Also picked up the rear brake kit, super happy with it, just need to get the calipers stripped and painted up.

Should be getting the chassis back in the next month or so, so looking forward to that!
