The outer belt blades and rear quarter window seals are on the way, won't be here for Easter but ain't rushing things here.
I did order new front calipers from USA, these are not 2 piston, not 4 piston but 1 piston floating calipers designed for a MK2 Focus Duratec, ok I've gone mad, but think how good modern calipers work and the weight/inertia they need to haul up kinda makes M16s obsolete in comparison. These calipers are designed for 280-320mm rotor so that's right in the range. I'll receive them in 2 to 3wks , calipers cost $60ea and $30 post from the usa

Modern calipers you say? Same thread for the lines?

Being floating calipers they'll need rubber lines and I think they are the same thread but I'll use the correct Focus lines for the proper setup

Just bouncing over to the yellow Rally Pack to update we got the wiring plugged in then after that was to install and stick down the insulation, it ain't dynomat or the other special priced stuff.

When Mark done his my thoughts are excellent job, tho all that neatness gets covered by a layer of carpet.
Ours is plenty good for the job intended, some bits didn't stick so I used contact spray to hold it down till the carpet is installed. Speak of which, carpet has gone up in price by over $100 in 12-18 months, $300+ from Knox or TruFit , painful increase !

Got a delivery from RSA, I think they need to make the seals as it took a few days to get posted, all good though..
The outer door belts are as good as factory parts, I was expecting those horrible looking sorts that was around 20+yrs ago. Even the notch and length is exact work the RSA ones.

Only thing I'm having trouble with is getting the tang down between the rail and door skin which is why the seal is sitting up.

Rear quarter seals are tight to install on the glass and took some thought, after finding the join, I placed it at bottom middle then hooked the two farthest corners and worked the rest on evenly.. I'll let them get the shape memory before installing

They look really good, escpecially the rear quarters. I think they actually look a bit nicer than the ones I got from Yesterford - which are Burtons ones. They look like a better quality rubber, hard to explain exactly but the ones from Burtons have almost a whiteish powder on them and they were a fairly "loose" fit and at the rear where it tapers down to the tight radius they actually kinked outwards away from the window a little no matter what I did.

I am actually taking them back when I get a chance because the set came with two left rubbers instead of a left and a right

That's a pain, id rather the seals being a bit tight than baggy as you'd be chasing the loose part trying to draw the string out. Give RSA a go with some seals and belts, we'll be buying all of what's needed for the Rally Pack soon
My rear quarter seals weren't shaped, they came as pic shows just an oval loop so it's any thing goes with the MK1, MK2 should be a different story as the back corner is really tight, maybe email them beforehand .

Had a shot at installing the rear quarter windows , started with the driver side. Using some 5mm string to peel the lip over the seam, also kept the used lots of soap suds to help it slide in place. A bit of force pushing the glass into position while pulling the string away, everything went well and here's the pics

Also while there I got the blade felt fitted too, I linished off some rubber to make the blade thinner at the rail which worked fine

nice, just the screens to go and she's buttoned up.

Have you got a new windscreen going in?
I have a MK1 windcreen here you (or anyone) can have, complete with old Vic rego sticker.

It might be an issue though to post, especially the way Aramax went last time.

Thanks but yer, annorax don't do very cleverly..
I have a few non lammys here which I'll pick the best from. Rear screen is on the bubble arch shell unless I have one in the pile with the fronts. Hood liner still needs making after I work out the VF Commodore sun visors placement
