Righty hoo, I modded the rotors today , first job was to remove the old Capri solid disks which was a bit stuck on from the rust buildup.
Next was to fit a rotor on the lathe to open the centre bore hole about 2mm so it fits over the Capri hub centre boss.

I made the fitment very close so there's no wobble but can spin

After measuring the 4x holes to mount the rotor on I went over to the drill press to drill holes

I will admit a couple holes dittn line up so needed a slight file to get corrected, I'll put the washer locks back on after they been cleaned up. The hubs will get a full clean out and bearing kit. Which is funny that if ordering Capri mk1 price is a little dearer than MK2 Cortina ones which are identical !
My shock inserts are due in early next week so I'll be able to build up the struts to almost complete.
Am still wondering on height so I'll just tack on the spring seat till finalised , thinking I'll just drop it 25mm and see..
Just want to ask the gurus out there if 266mm rotors got behind 13in alloys. Personally I think that's still enough room with calipers as an only going up from 247mm to 266mm which is 10mm at 1 side , and Volvo calipers are a similar dimension to escort ones.

If I update to the 266mm rotors that will help me make a adaptor mount for calipers.
Dimensions for Peugeot 206 rotors to Capri 2.8i rotors
Peugeot are 247mm, 20mm thick and are 34.5mm tall , centre hole is 66mm
Capri are 245mm, 20mm thick and 32mm tall with a centre hole of 67.8mm (or there abouts) .
