Finally found a super space saver wheel from our local upulit wreckers from a 2006 Fiesta which has the same 4x108 as focus/escort etc $50 and I got 2x screw clamps in the bargain as well.
Next was to modify the screw down clamp so it fits my setup, I did buy a Hyundai one from AliExpress but was to short, no drama at $6 it'll be stored till I find a use for it. The one on the left is a stock focus clamp, the middle is my modded one, shortened and 8mm thread Tig welded on, and the right side is the Hyundai one which was way to short.
And the wheel locked into place safe and sound!
I will fit a donut of high density foam where the tyre is at the boot floor once the boot is painted
