Did I see your MK1 in the  SFS pics floating around?

so the Ballarat Swap on the weekend was pretty decent. We arrived just before 7am,  and left about 12.30, having just about seeing all rows, apart from some of the motor bike section. It was in new premises, plenty of people, with queues stretching about 5m of cars waiting to get in.
Managed a few bargains, mostly little stuff and supplies.
 
10 packs for misc hardware screws for $5

One for Drewdog: Cortina and Matchbox all in one. Cortina was running  a 1600 crossflow, and a good start for someone at $700

 

 

it wouldnt be a swap without buying some more driving lights.
Cibies in good nick, chrome was nice.
I was thinking one might be able to use as a reversing light, like the round ones mk1's used to have?

Oh that swap meet would be mint! I know there are a few small ford guys and gals that live in that area so would have been some potential good finds.

Bonnet looks good, careful with this humid weather though, might flash rust real quick!

that was a good point.
We had a cold change and rain come through yesterday, and this weekend will be no shed time, so last night I mixed up the remaining undercoat and got the bonnet and another coat done on a back door.
Happy now that its sealed up like you suggested.
 
I might be time to refit the bonnet and gap it properly before having a go at those aerocatches next.

lts been long overdue for an update, Plus another All Ford Day has come and gone also.
Next year I'll take the van, promise.
To the untrained eye, its looking pretty much similar to how it was in previous posts, except its has been flattenned out again, and given another coat of primer.
I'm currently having fun just spot puttying and minor defects which come to like after being primed again.
One side of my garage gets alot more natural light, so thats going to be the focus, then 
 

The little ripples along the bottom edge of the window infill now look much better but was a pain.

Passenger door was nice, with just a couple of small pitts around the skin fold.
