Wont know until we get the final estimate, I would be expecting $100 to $150 a pair for the brackets. The locks you buy from rare spares etc

Been working on the boot floor area however time has been somewhat in short supply .
Previously the battery was mounted in the boot and has encouraged rust to eat away the left side floor. The spare wheel well is also not worth repairing so may use an alternative well.

Hi Can you send a copy of your CAD drawings or just put them in the info section under Capri Discussions. Or use the cad drone delivery system if available. I need them Quick. Drones deliver nowadays I hear. Just wrap cardboard in bubble wrap sorted.

Unfortunately the said CAD drawings have been become waterlogged due to the large rainfall lately and I failed to upload the CAD file to my scrap book.
 
On a serious note, will you have to remove the scuttle end to repair the hidden section underneath like mine?
 

No I shouldn’t. It’s not eaten or got any holes. I’ll just sand blast the whole area and use por15 to seal it. The other Apillar is fine and I reckon it was just this little hole from factory that caused this side to rot.

Finally finished scraping off the huge amount of underseal, the person who put it on used it to cover a multitude of sins and poor repairs so it was really thick and everywhere.
Also had to make a new seat mounting plate as the original had previously been hacked out with the rusty floor.
I had the fuel tank cleaned while it was out which started me thinking about other things other than cutting out rust for a change.

I am at the stage where I really need to strip the rest of the body however am waiting for me to build extra storage first, so in the meantime have been sorting other things.
Since I am planning on going EFI I wanted to have an in tank EFI pump as it will be tidier not having a swirl pot and external pump. The Capri tank seems reasonably baffled and being quite deep should suit the internal pump.
I have used a VS Commodore pump unit and converted it to suit the modified Capri tank.
