I thought that looked like a US Pinto.

Any ideas on the year of the car it came out of? Engine has some emission components.

Hi, I am also querying some engine identification codes and would appreciate some clarification if possible.  We have 70HM6051BA Also BR64772.
We don't have a VIN number as we bought the engine which is to be the donor, no paperwork so no details, all we know is it is a 2ltr Pinto T6, so basically we are looking for any info on the year of manufacture.  These are the only numbers we can find on the engine.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Perhaps try the Cortina or Escort forums, as the Capri never had Pinto motors fitted here in Australia, that might help!
