WHY THE 12'S ?!

Cause i have a set of genuine MEX steels, but ill be running the 12's for granny styles!

Bought an 81 ford courier ute(complete) today for $56- on EBAY just getting the diff out then its going to the wreckers any one need any parts,will be stripping it tommorrow if all goes to plan.

What I need to know is if the later model centres (LSD) fits this housing apparently so but I want to make sure,if not I will weld this unit up for now,when Ive got it appart I will take some detail photos and we might be able to put the conversion in the tech section.
will be using standard reaer brakes for now until my workshop is set up better to tackle the disk set up.

If its tub back and the tail lights are good ill have them, and how much for the 5 speed, yer i have a 78 Courier and my daily(mini trucked)

so what is the earliest year that the LSD come out in?

I think the XLT's had them otioned and when the 4wd were released there were also an option

It had a steel tray on it and a 4 speed which was 4 months old,I give it to the wreckers today in return he will pull the diff/tailshaft,u bolts, hand brake cable, and 2 wheels out of it and deliver it to me.
the body is stuffed but it did have a new radiator in it.


did some one say you can mini/full spool these centres if the later centres are 29? spline this may have to be the other way to go.
