Hi all it seems Victoria may be graced with the esteemed presense of a NSW Capri club member on 25 or 26th of September. To celebrate, I was thinking of having a tech and tune day to show off my prowess at setting the tappets on the V6 and 1600 and the fiddly things to look for when doing a tune up. Venue will be my Berwick abode unless someone suggests a better location.

I will need 2 volunteers who want their tappets set as mine are already done. I can also arrange a demo on the 2lt Pinto motor if there is any interest

I will provide a basic BBQ and an assortment of domestic beer (first the beer then the domestic [B)]). Date to be confimed. I will list it in the next Capri Torque, but that won't give people much warning hence the heads up on the forum.

Hi JR, sounds like a good thing.Best you organise/fanalise the date asap because we're doing the newsletter early, (next week) due to Al's immenent departure to the U.S. for work.

Great idea. At this stage Mick will be down definately on Sat 25th and making a visit to Nunawading. Therfore Saturday 25th Sept at 1.00PM there will be a gathering for lunch at the Mitcham Hotel
