Hi all, I'm needing to put in a new rear parcel tray in my 72 GT V6, the interior colour is saddle, would that mean the parcel tray is the same colour, or is it black? Also does anyone know the best place to get a repro or a mint second hand one? Were there any variations in the parcel tray designs from model to model? Cheers

Dont know anything about them but these guys say they do a rear fibreglass one. There used to me a mob called Pagasus that did them but their website seems to be gone.

For Australian assembled cars, the rear parcel tray was black regardless of the colour of the trim (just like the dash and centre console also). On UK assembled cars they were all colour coded and, for me, looked better. I'm not aware of any variation in design, except when the facelift model came with the split style rear seat.

It would be reasonably difficult to get a good used one, as they were made of a compressed cardboard from memory, and they didn't do too well in the Aussie sun. Plus, most people cut holes in them for speakers.[:I] Capri Clinic in Perth do fibreglass reproductions which look quite good: http://capriclinic.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_24_30&products_id=70&osCsid=f2a81454e91d36661603c07bdeccc6cd

The guy on ebay is $110 cheaper. His ad is for front but in the description he mentions the rear.
