Hi I have a '71 Capri that is needing new rims could someone tell me if Capri,Escort & Cortina rims are the same or do they have different offsets thank you

MK1 and 2 escort and cortina are the same, but i think the tc on corty have a diffent offset, but i could be wrong.

Wheels under 6 inches wide will suit any early Ford.

Early MK1 Cortina wheels have 5mm more offset than Escort.
TC-F Cortina's have around 5mm less offset than Escort.

So Cortina wheels will fit Escort, but Escort wheels will touch Cortina guards.

I partly agree with maxrs. I have learned from experience that Superlite wheels for an Escort (Mk1 or Mk2) foul the struts on Mk1 Mk2 Cortinas and Anglia 105Es. The same brand of wheel ordered for Mk1 Cortina has a different offset and fills out standard Escort arches nicely, but had to lip the Mk1 rears.
