I seek a TPS for a YBB Cosworth throttle body. It will ideally need to be brand new to ensure absolute performance...Burtons have had it on order since April with no result.

4wd one and change the loom? Need to swap the outer two wires. Or if you have prog management? Remap TPS?

Did not know this was an option....I use Autronic SMC ECU.

2wd = PF01
4WD = PF09

Do a search on passionfight.

The two outer wires need swaping in the loom as potentiometer is wired reverse.

Obviously need to be checked for ultimate linearity but plenty of people have swaped on standard (chipped) management without obvious problems.

This did not solve the problem from an engineering point of view, I will investigate further to see that my ECU will handle the signal differences...Thanks for answering, I will expand my electronic side over the usual mechanical bent...There is always more to learn and appreciate...

Mark, another option is to piss the whole lot off and use a S13/14/15 TB and TPS with your autronic. The TB size is basically the same, and it's easily modified to fit. This is the path I'm currently looking into after it was recomended by my local Autronic dealer / dyno guy....

As I said just another option [:I]

Cheers Scott

Definitely food for thought...I have a track day to attend in 3 weeks and would prefer not to make any drastic changes that might impede my chances to front up against some worthy adversaries...
