Ok Roger, I've now put 2 and 2 together here (after going through the carsales ad again) and realised that you may be the same Roger who is selling this car. Am I correct?

I don't mean to offend if it is, and the car is very very nice, but for me the asking price is just a bit too much. In saying that, I don't know how much it's cost you (both to buy and to rebuild). There may be someone out there who's willing to pay $40k, but they may take some finding.

The 5th photo in the ad shows a rear bumper but in the first few its not fitted. I would put the bumpers back on. My 2c.

Not Jamie A, you must be thinking of someone else. You should make the fellow an offer for the Capri if you like it (maybe closer to 30g's than 40). It would look good in the garage next to that yellow Mk1 in your avatar.

i went for a spin in that capri about 7 years ago, nice car, went well. it used to live around reynella i think in the early 2000's
