That's my mates cousins car I think. He asked me what I thought it was worth a few months back and said about $25 grand. He didn't think much of that opinion..........clearly. [:u]

Yours is a delete, which means it's rarer and worth twice that anyway.[:x)]

Pretty much, and I'd go for a good Perana over the GTV6. You'd be looking to spend around mid 40's to buy and import a good Perana from South Africa, and for that money it should be in your driveway.

That is a very nice car and I would think that it probably owes its owner 30g+. Its a lot of money tho (think what you could buy down the new car dealers for that).
Its a shame that the car wasn't presented complete and perfect.(missing bumper, front parcel tray backing, side stripes, sill stainless strips and blackout, what else?)
No young kid has 40g spare to buy a toy car so the task at hand is to convince some old bloke on a nostalgia trip that you did a good job and its just made all the harder with bits missing. Its a great car, just let down by the presentation.

Couldn't agree more. The best chance of making that sort of asking price is to present a completed, factory original, running and roadworthy car. Even then, he would have his work cut out for him.

Cheers
