am I right in thinking the Facelift Capri 2LT was a straight Pinto motor or did it also come out with the V4 ? I was under the impression the V4 was from the pre-facelift model.

they came with both, the pinto and the essex v4

a silver one. with a boot spoiler?

I used to see the silver one with boot spoiler every so often at the Capri Clinic, the bloke bought it on the internet from over east - its a nice car, would like to see it again actually - haven't seen him for about 5 years.

What was the deal with the V4 or Pinto ? was one of these motors used in the early facelift then changed to the other for the later ones ? or was it just customer preference as to which 2lt he wanted ?
