Hello all, I've been a member here for a few years and thought I should probably start posting a few pictures
My small ford story started in NZ, Escorts were a dime a dozen when I was a teenager(late 90"s) I had a couple of pinto powered mk1's & 2's. I now own a 75 mk1 replica Mexico that I bought off fellow CFF member.
The plan is to build an RS1600 replica and this is the engine for her. I just got the cam cover, oil cap and leads from retroford and boy am I happy with how it looks.Engine Specs
Ported cc'd headCrower 3/4 race cam (282,290)
Crower race valves and springs
Crower adjustable cam gearsJE forged pistons
Eagle H beam rods and ringsBalanced crankshaft
I got this engine in parts off a member from this forum who did most of the hard yards before I got it. But as you can see there is still a long way to go. I'm going to go with twin 45's simply because I want the whole classic original look.
The goal is HOPEFULLY to reach around about the 220hp mark or as close to as possibleGearbox will be Supra I have a dellow alloy bell housing
