Thanks for the advice troppo and the compliment ausmk2. Yea I will be sure to take photos as I can imagine the headache after a couple of days trying to put parts back together.
She definitely is a good platform although I wanted to start from scratch but my mrs said she would probably pack her bags if there were parts and grease everywhere haha

If you have a repair manual it shows how to get your axles out, not a hard job. Fully sealed bearings for the axle are readily available and should cure your problem. just need access to a good press to remove/ refit them. You've got a nice looking machine to get yourself started in the classic Ford world.
