I have converted from a Lucas to Bosch alternator, which is doing the right thing and charging battery but I have a spare Green wire that used to go on + of Lucas but when connected to came terminal on Bosch illuminates the bottom left instrument light (when ignition is off).
 
What colour is the current sensing wire and where should it connect to on Bosch? I have the + pole connection or just a + spade.
Lastly on the dash at bottom which light is which for oil and alt?
 
If it helps, its a late 74 model if wiring varies.

from memory, bottom left amber light is charge which should turn off just after start up. Red on the bottom right is ignition.
