Yep that what its used for, we were running 12 to 1 in the torrie.I think we were running, low 14s over the 1/4.
 

Sounds like a mean torana smallvan. The mist should help with detonation or `pinking' MK1-oz, i was having a hell of a time in my esky, she would pink like crazy even on premium once she started to warm up. All i knew about the engine was that `it had been warmed up' and i was running about 8 degrees advance just to try to minimize it.Going to have to do a compression test one day.

It was, but he took it off the road/track to put a big block chev in it.Well you know the rest 

Water meth injection has been around for as long as I, an ex employer ran it in his Torana also.

Don't you just learn something new every day, Please, more info. how did it work.???
 
can you help me & the forum with more detailed construction info. and/or diagrams
that made it useful, was it a kit or an off the shelf product,?? What were the parts used,??
Would the parts to make this be still available,?? Do you still run it on your current ride,??

Was an original LJ XU1, was used for hillclimb only a different 202 was fitted. Was turboed with no intercooler, draw through from a 45 sidedraught from memory, and the water meth injection was pretty much just a windscreen washer bottle with a micro switch activated by throttle position. Was almost 20 years ago

Interesting post frogscort, do you know if there was any way to regulate the supply line for various revs?
