The head still needs to be built...custom guides, porting, larger valve seats, some welding in the chambers etc, otherwise just the seat retrim to be finished

Then its on to this little beauty[%]

Rust free and straight...will be restored original with GT options

The bottom end is now the closest it has been to the car in 3 years[:p] It has moved from Windsor to Campbelltown[(#)]

Today other than picking up the bottom end, I dropped of a heap of parts for powder coating...tomorrow night I will start masking up the block for etch priming

There should be some nice pics coming soon

wesome!

Has the back seat been finished? I'm thinking I should 4link my ride while its a bare shell, but I want to keep the back seat. Very interested in yours? was it expensive to do... i was going to have mine re trimmed so Im not going to far out of my way.

With your heater core... so all it is is the heater element out of the heater mounted inside the heater box? So you dont have to run the water hoses any more?

Cheers

Hi Jordan,

The back seat frame and foam work is done but it hasn't been trimmed yet...hopefully it will be done very soon. It didn't cost much as I did most of the work myself, the foam was about $100 from memory and a bit of aluminium and a few rivets. The trim however is a different story..that will probably end up in the $1000-$1500 range as it is so complex.

The heater is just the electric element mounted in the heater box...well its 2 of them actually. No heater hoses required. Im not sure how well it will work yet...but hoping it does!! They worked well in the original heaters they came with.

Cheers,

Phil.
