Old, but if you want it to feature in a magazine again, you should go new.

Cage looks great by the way Phil.

They both look quite good actually in the body colour. I do prefer the original style in red but I am a little biased! But I think you need to do something with those cam gears Phil!

Thanks Guys[:p]

Its disappointing that they arent interchangable as I like them both. Im still leaning towards the late cover as it will bring part of a fresh identity for the car. The cam gears will end up being anodised silver. Im waiting on a reply from Martin Reyland on a set of his pulleys and a carbon fibre coilpack cover and belt cover from Mike Rainbird.

If I do go with the late head does anyone have another late head they want to swap for an excellent Escort Cosworth 4x4 Big Turbo head[%]

The new item looks better now it has been painted, does it have a cam wheel cover for it ?

They both look great but i'm sticking with my original vote OLD.
This car is definitely worthy of another magazine shoot !

Definately the new one! Brings the old girl up to date instead of just looking like a clean up rebuild

Phil, the car looks great,
I prefer the old cam cover, the new style one looks unfinished if you dont put the cam pulleys cover back on as the flange behind is visable and too bulky. the old cover and the machined arealeaving painted lettering adds a level of sophistication and attention to detail, whereas the flat lead cover and cosworth sticker look cheap and added on (not detailed)
Does the new cover allow the use of readily available turbo hangars?, Looking at it the bolt spacing is quite far apart thus the hangar may be awkward looking (if your using one)

Cheers JP
