The 265's went in with just minitubs but these have had to have the quarter panels pumped out another inch...the main objective was to do it without loosing the original lines, which I think I have achieved with it just looking slightly 'fat' in the rear quarters[:p] I have some minor work left refinishing the minitub ont the right hand side then I can do the left hand side Oh and I just need to make a section to weld in in place of the old fibreglass rust repair that I did 15 years ago[:u] I am finally feeling satisfied that I am finishing the car off exactly how I want it, its really taking shape now

I like the tent that appears in my tracky pants, every time i see progress in this thread.
Early December i am heading down your way again for Nostalgia drags.

hahaha.

Good to hear that you have opted for a 200 block Phil, is it a spankinjg new item ?

I hear that 205 blocks are pretty much on their limit at the 400rwhp mark and i guess you are planning to crack that this time round.

Very nice "massaging" job on the quarters Phil, can't even pick it from that shot.

So how much do a couple of 285/30 18 REO50A's cost?? [:0] They are great tyres though.

Hi Damion,

The 200 is a good S/H one, hopefully we can test its limits[:p]

Hi Cam,

You must know your tread patterns[%] I got them cheap on ebay!!! At least its good for the odd bargain[;^)] They are worth $500 each new and I didn't pay anywhere near that[:p] The have a treadwear rating of 140 so they are almost a motorsport compound
