There are some handy hints that come with the cage...basically an assembly order that allows full welding of all bars without removing the roof[:0][;^)] I have followed the directions and so far have managed to do everything even without upsetting the hoodlining[%] The secret is to cut holes in the floor for the main hoop to slide down through. This allows the complete welding of the front legs to main hoop and windscreen bar to front legs.Everything else is accessible if you do it in the right order. Once all the welding of the front half is done, the main hoop is raised again and the floor plates are welded into place under the main hoop which cover the holes the hoop slid down through Once this is done, the rear half is welded in with all joints full accessible to weld These guys have really got it sussed[:p]

I cut the rest of the tube this afternoon, the taxi bar for the harnesses to mount to and the front windscreen bar gussets. All are tacked in place ready for welding. Once that is done its ready for the ANDRA tech inspection CAMS is a simple case of filling in a declaration I also did the weight calcs...the whole cage weighs in just under 40kg[;^)]

That's a pretty serious cage!

I'm quietly confident that if you turn it over in an acco you'd be safe [:x)]
