Toying with the notion of putting a 5 speed in my RS2000, but im very reluctant to cut holes etc to fit it.
 
I have a vague recollection of someone posting here some time ago something about modifying the gearbox, in effect shortening it so that none of the tunnel needed to be cut.....
 
Ive had a bit of a search but cant find anything relating to it.
 
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to put a t9 in, without having to cut any part of the tunnel etc?. In effect turning it into the same length as a std 4 speed?.
