Just saw this whilst looking through the Motorsport-tools site for a few bits..
 
A firewall mounted bias pedal box. 
Not a bad idea but im still not sure how it would sit on an escort as the usual brake booster mounts quiet low on the firewall so it might slightly defeat the purpose..? 
Would be good if you can also buy the mc's separately then you can get the ones with the fluid reservoir all in one unit saving the need for separate reservoirs as well.
 
Personally i'm not 100% convinced, i think if your going to rid of the booster you might as well just get one of Paul.D's peddle boxes and have the most room you can in the engine bay. But this example below is obviously a slightly more simple and cheaper option if it fits ok...?
 
Be interesting to see if someone has fitted it to an escort in any case..

mate of mine put on in a datto 1600, but i agree i cant see them fit to the escort firewall.. maybe fittied to the booster arm though?
 
im thinking of getting one for my track car as it doesnt have a standard firewall at all..
