Phil,

Starting to lean towards the genuine Cosworth pistons for the small amount of extra $$. I see that PEC also sell a cosworth slipper piston for their longer rods.

Any reason you didn't go down that path? Did you already have standard length rods you wanted to use?

Hi Ash,

I stayed with the Std length rods due to the stroke/rod ratio already being perfect for forced induction, I realised when I started to research this very issue prior to the build that Cosworth werent as silly as some would think[:o)] The reason the Cossie rods are slightly longer than pinto is that is all that is required to match the rod/stroke ratio perfectly for the application...hence not changing it. N/A is a different story but for a torquey YB turbo engine...leave them std spec[;^)]

Cheers,

Phil.

Thanks Phil. Maybe I can use those cossie rods I bought off you after all then!

Thanks for the kind remarks Santa.
