Have torn myself away from the beer fridge (Hic) and have cleaned up the centre console.

I have got rid of the stereo and plan to put a couple of gauges in it's place.

I have mocked up a plate and plan to make it out of Carbon Fibre if I can con my cousin into doing it for me.

I went for my first ride in the car yesterday since I bought it back in November last year.

I got a temporary permit as I will be getting the roadworthy later this week.  Hopefully

The car handles like a boat and the brakes are crap but I can honestly say that I haven't had as much fun driving a car in years.

Here is a pick of my babies.

Yeah, I love my S15 but it sits in the street whilst my wifes car and the escort sit in the garage.  I would sell it before I sold the escort.   Maybe I should swap over their engines and have a Pinto engined 200sx!

I think you'll be fine with your bolts.  I don't know what brand mine are.

Here is a photo of mine after I cut them down.

Cheers

Cleaned up the centre consol and added in some gauges.  Have yet to wire them up but they are Water Temp Oil Pressure  & Volts.

I bought the gauge holder from Autobarn for $15.00 and it fits like factory.

Cheers,

Matt

I had my cousin slot the holes in the calipers and they look great.

Roadworthy was knocked back due to a big rust hole in the engine bay under the heater bubble.  A dodgy repair was done with fibreglass and the mechainc attacked it with an F'n big srewdriver and mallet and ripped up half the firewall.  He really hooked in to the point I was about to give him one.

So new plans are to strip the shell, fix all the rust & have a crack at repainting it myself.

Sounds easy in theory but we shall see.

Here are the calipers.

I hat eit when mechanics do that! I had my roadworthy done and there was a few spots of rust, its was still up on the hoist to he pointed them out and started stabbing them with a screwdriver, I almost lost it.
