Yeah, saw that.

Can you post some pics of how you mounted it?

Cheers

I would of thought radiator size is more important than fan size in a race car , because your constantly moving , unlike on the street with traffic lights etc.

Glen, what do you mean by additional cooling?

I have a 3 core standard radiator and don't seem to have overheatiing issues but then I'm not reving it to 6k yet.

I guess I'll just wait and see what happens on the track.

haha, I run standard 2 row 2lt radiator on my RS and it works fine. temp only ever goes as high as fan cut in temp.and that only happens at idle and when driving hard through tight twisties.oh and there is intercooler and oil cooler in front of the rad too. If its a second hand radiator and if not done already I strongly suggest you have it cleaned out (tank off and each tube rodded out) and if cooling system is rusty/scaly run tectaloy HD2 to flush.
So with your 3row I reckon definitely try and see how it goes, i reckon it will be fine.

cheers
ps ill get some photos up for you tonight

Picked this up today from my cousin.  6 point 3" RPM harness.  He just had it sitting there.  The FIA Date is 2015 so it'll stay in date untill 2020.

I just needed to buy the crotch straps.  $25 from Revolution Racegear.

Can't beat free.

I thought about one of the road legal 2" harnesses but thought I would rather err on the side of safety and as I will leave the seatbelts in the car anyway I will still be road legal.

Cheers,

Matt

Free is good! Nice work Matt. I have the same harness in my car and I am very happy with it.

Cheers Bud, yeah I always think big is better.

Actually, it's more arse than class as if the harness was 2" I would be using that.

hey matt, I used Davies Craig mounting bolts and washers as per this kit http://www.daviescraig.com.au/Spare_Parts-FAN_HARDWARE___ELEC__8_9_10__FANS_12V___PART_No__0563-details.aspx along with some 5mm rubber spacers  as per pic below
