Turns out that the springs I ordered 2 weeks before Christmas willl be made at the end of Jan so it is unlikely that the cra will be going to Small Ford Sunday.  I am really disappointed as I was really looking forward to having my car there this year especialy as I'm on the committee.

Anyway, I wanted some instant gratification so I sandblased my wheels and painted them gold.

Came up all right too.

Cheers

Yeah, I bought it when I was 18 too!  I do need a new one as the car is so low now that I need to drive it onto a block of wood in order to get the jack under it.

The splitter is from the R31 Skyline too.

Cheers

Hey Mish,

That's true, Murphy's law says that I'll will just get the old springs back in when the new ones arrive.

Anyone got some lowering blocks I can borrow for a few weeks?

Is it all down hill to Williamstown from your joint or will you trailer it there?

Cheers,

Matt

Been busy.

Diff is in.

Disc Brakes on.

Handbrake cable attached.

Just need to put tail shaft back in then bleed the brakes and hope I haven't screwed anything up.

Cheers,

Matt

Nearly there,

Today I hooked up the brake lines, prop shaft back in and shocks bolted in too.

Had a bit of an issue with the handbrake not locking the brakes but all that was needed was to pump the handbrake about 30 times and all is good now.

All that's left is to bleed the brakes and then I'm good to go.

Cheers,

Matt
